Introduction

USB-CNV3 is the programming cable which USB port provides serial connection and RS422 signal conversion.Under the control of driver, the programming cable simulates USB port of the computer as traditional serial port(known as COM interface) in order to use various existing programming softwares,communication softwares, monitoring softwares etc applications. The working power supply of this cable is directly from the USB port,not the PLC programming interface. The two-color LED on the converter box indicates data’s transceiving status.

USB-CNV3 is applicable to Fuji N Series (NB, NJ, NS) PLC, support the largest communication distance 1.5 km.

About Long Distance Communication

The largest communication range is up to 1.5 kilometers (19200 bps).The user should follow the self-made plan to extend cable. Communication line should be five 8-twisted pair (cable). When the distance is over 1,500 m, RS422 repeater could be installed to extend the distance.

Please Note: USB interface cannot be extended.

Due to internal resistance have been installed in USB-CNV3 and the PLC, no terminal resistance is needed when you do the external wire splicing.
